I've just discovered that we don't have frogs in our garden - they are toads! I'm really happy about that as they are quite rare (and oh so cute!) There might also be a couple of frogs, but some are definitely toads!
Now I've got to find out which kind they are! :D
(I found another four that were hiding under more decking we moved at the weekend - I must've rather scared some of them as they p*ssed on my hand as i moved them!)

the internet is marvellous for learning stuff quickly...
They are common toads. The didn't wee on my hands but produce toxin to stop me eating them (despite me telling them I was a veggie!)
But sadly they only like large, deep ponds for breeding. What none of these sites told me was how large and how deep - anyone know?
