Title: mountain minnows
Post by: ACE on November 14, 2006, 16:38:26
I don't remember where I heard it, but somebody once said that you can use mountain minnows in a garden pond. Having a shoal of these fish really appeals to me. Has anybody on this site tried them, and are they the white cloud mountain minnows that people put in aquariums.

white clouds are semi trop so are OK in cold water tanks but would last in a pond until autumn then you would have to fish them out and bring them indoors

red or golden minnows would be OK if you can get them shops need a special licence to sell these now though so most don't
