Title: Tulip Bulbs
Post by: Vez1 on September 09, 2006, 12:20:41
I have been looking at the vast array of tulip bulbs available and am now more confused than when I started. Anyway I am wondering where everyone on here buys their bulbs from just so i can get an idea who is worth buying from.

I've bought from T&M, Bakker and Bloms - all excellent. Also some specialized nurseries for the wild ones.

everywhere really. co-op have their packs of bulbs for £1.99 BOGOF and have some different varieties of tulips. also wilkinsons have a very large collection for a very cheap price. and you can check the bulbs first hand.

even poundland have some different varieties.

I've been looking for a pink variety for my mate's 40th, and eventually cheated and got 4 bags of 10 from Morrisons @ £1.99, buy 2 save £1.00 of their Pink Blend.  Not a clue what they're like but will let you know next Spring.

Has anyone received a Spalding catalogue. I looked at the bakka site after seeing it mentioned last night
& it has the same photo on the front & the same offers as Bakka. Are they the same company? ???
