Title: EXCEL - somebody, please??
Post by: tim on July 28, 2006, 06:58:53
How do I print a ruled page with empty rows & columns?

I just want 8 columns & as many rows as I can get onto a page.

Select your 8 columns and about 100 rows

Using the menu bar at the top of the worksheet:

Format/borders and shading - select the criss-cross grid on the left to highlight the cell borders
File/page setup - select 'fit to page'. Make sure the orientation (landscape or portrait) is set to what you want

Insert a space in the bottom right cell of your selection (column 8, row 100 for example)

File/print - select '1' in 'number of pages'
Use 'print preview' to check OK

If you want bigger spaces in your printout, use Format menu to adjust paragraph size
Hope that works tim?
