Title: Red Spider mite
Post by: amphibian on July 08, 2006, 11:54:24
I found a tiny patch of web on one of my aubergine leaves today, but I thought RSM was not a common problem outdoors. Could it be something else? What action should I take*.

False alarm, I have just discovered the culprit; a little green caterpillar thing about 3mm long, these appeared on my chillies last year, I have no idea what they are, oddly I mentioned them here (http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/joomla/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,57/topic,21933.msg219705#msg219705) just yesterday.
