Title: Almond Tree

I have this Almond tree in my front garden that doesn't look too well  :( was trimming it today,so thought while l could get a close up piccie maybe somebody on here might have an idea what's causing the red shrivelled leaves.......please.

Thank you both  :-* not sure about covering it though,it's a bit large  ??? but at least l know what l'm dealing with and perhaps have a go treating it.
