Title: Bizzie Lizzie Problems

my mums got a bizzie lizzie, that keeps getting infested with little green aphids, she keeps washing them off, but they come back, she had tried different compost, but still gets the same problem. Any ideas?

You gave me a shock there Adam, thought for a moment I had done something wrong!!  ::) Are they in a bed somewhere or in a pot.  If they are in a bed, has she looked at whats near them, could be the re- infestation is coming from somewhere near by, that needs attention too. busy_lizzie

These plants are very prone to aphids. She might not be washing all the aphids off, hence the re-infestation, or they could be coming in through the open window. I think shr should consider a systemic insecticide to clear it properly, and then see what happens.
