Title: Missing Fritalaria?? Any Ideas??
Post by: KevB on April 28, 2006, 08:19:19
Hi All
As the photo shows FOUR fritalarias when there should be FIVE, can anyone explain why the fifth one is only 8 - 10 inches tall and should be an orange one so you can guess where it fits YEL - OR - YEL - SPACE -YEL.
It does have two stems growing BUT so do the others to a lesser extent!
Puzzled Kevb
  ??? ??? ???

P.S. hope someone can help for next time!!

It could be all sorts of things; something must have weakened it. Maybe it was weak to start with, if it was planted there last year. I find these things are fussy; they either lose strength year by year, or gain it slowly. How long have they been there? If they've been there a while, and always flower, leave them and it should recover, as I can't see any sign of disease.
