Title: cheapest place to but greenhouse

i am in desperate need of a new greenhouse,10 x 6. does anyone know of a cheap place to but one

try your local loot. maybe even put a wanted ad on, people usually reply. you just need to not be too picky, pick it up yourself and be able to put it together again.

i got a 6x8 doing this, had ot buy some new glass etc, but was still a massive saving and its good quality.

In another topic on this board, D I Y Greenhouses, littlegem mentions that she has a friend who is giving away a greenhouse. Worth checking out?

Try your local Freecycle group. Theres alwayys lots on offer.

Same here, and great value as it was only a year old ( made it easier to disassemble I think)

Twas never used except as a bike shed apparently  ;D

About 1/3 of new price  :)

Got ours from adtrader for £25 -8x6-had to dismantle,transport and re-erect but all glass ok-re-glazing it today if weather holds. Picking up a garden hut from somebody on freecycle on Sunday!!

I've just been told about this classified ad site too.

There's a button on the page which says "Other Gumtrees", which lists local sites.
