Title: Newt
Post by: Mrs Ava on March 05, 2004, 11:40:35
Whilst digging away on my new plot today I unearthed a newt who I guess was sleeping off the last of the winter.  He was moving, but not lively, so I took a couple of pics, then moved him somewhere safe....hope he is okay....  ???

Anyone tell me what sort of newt he is - almost black body with silver white flecks and the brightest orange red belly.  Only tiny, about the size of my little finger.

Cor, he doesn't look terribly chuffed does he, poor wee blighter.
