Title: sore aching bones
Post by: abdehor on January 24, 2006, 18:43:22
worked so hard this weekend (see the photos )
Now I need to get all these weeds and roots out for Easter to plant the tatties.
Any advice, other than sheer hardwork broke my fork today.

Take it little and often to spread the work, and plant somehting soon so you can see some reward.

Still time for garlic for instance.

buy a new stronger fork ;D some carrots start in February and i think you can do some tomatoes at home ready for when you get the weeds out (i think people call it motivation ) all the best by the way i cant find your photos

Work your way up slowly don't do too much in one go. Each year I will dig and then go do some tidying up etc then get back to the digging and build the time up slowly.  :P

If you are not used to it, do not dig for more than twenty minutes at a time and build up slowly. You are far better doing little and often than one massive effort. ;)
