Title: Cure for Black Spot
Post by: teresa on January 09, 2004, 01:53:22
John’s advice was 2 tablespoons of baking powder to 1 gallon of water plus a small amount of washing up liquid. Spray on a few leaves in the evening to check that there is no adverse reaction.
However, I have to confess I’m no Delia Smith so I didn’t follow John’s instructions to the letter. My mixture varies each time but generally consists of a couple of decent sized pinches of baking powder (or more if the mood takes me), a couple of drops of washing up liquid (or more if the lid drops off) and as much water as whatever container I happen to have at the time will hold
