Title: Quiet season Competition ?
Post by: AikenDrum on November 29, 2005, 23:56:37
How about we have a friendly competition to see who can make the best use of a 6,4,2 and one pint plastic milk container that is relevant to our shared passion, or even just funny ? We could form a committee *shivers* to be the final arbiters/judges  ... good or bad idea ?     {:¬)#

N.B. PLease send your insults to me by P.M.    :P

Ok big ed, since when has  a milk container been called a 6 x 4 x 2?  Is that the standard EU description. I buy my milk in litres not 6 x 4 x 2's!

How many peeps would know that's what you meant?  Er, none

must be a Bedford thing Aiken - I knew exactly what you meant!

Overall comp or one for each size category? 6 pint = heavy wieght 4 pint = middle weight etc..

Some one has already won I think anyway - there was a thread months back on inventive things with milk bottles!

Your Scottish English is at fault AD!  You should have said take four plastic milk containers, eg a 6 pint, a 4 pint,  a 2 pint and a one pint.  Then we would have known what you were talking about.  You HAVE to be specific not WOOLLY minded as possibly you were last evening for some reason .........

Title: Re: Quiet season Competition ?
Post by: wardy on November 30, 2005, 12:01:44
Oh does it!  No, it's your fault entirely for being vague.  Had you been more specific then there would have been no room for doubt.  You are guilty as charged.  Confess  ;D
Title: Re: Quiet season Competition ?

I hate to tell you this AD but in a former life I was a lawyer.  Hope you got all your facts and a fat wallet.  Your only chance mate is a plea of insanity.  Take that!  ;D
Title: Re: Quiet season Competition ?
Post by: AikenDrum on November 30, 2005, 12:09:00
Unfortunately I can't plead insanity, I've got a letter from my psychiatrist to say I'm OK now, and this really nice Nurse that gives me my tablets says I'm getting better and better every day now  .....

Very impressive Eric although I have to say it looks like your soil is going to need a bit of TLC to get it up to scratch for spring.

Now I know my entry is a bit late but I had a bit of trouble getting enough beer cans together and then I had to sober up before I made my model.  Welll, here it is:
