Title: Wheelbarrows
Post by: Piglet on January 24, 2004, 17:58:53
Not sure if been mentioned before but for all you new lottie holders top tip:-

If you go down to your local council tip they often have old wheelbarrows from Builders for approx £5 which you could leave on your site with no worries of getting pinched.

Thats where i got mine. :D

Hey Piglet....what a brilliant tip, I desperately want a wheelbarrow ....must just find out where my nearest council tip is and off I go.....oh just had a thought...will it go in the boot of my small peugeot car......or am I gonna have to walk with it? - not that I mind unless of course, it's miles away!..... ;) thanks anyway....H.P.

if anyone has a brand new one though, esp like the B&Q sort, the center pin for the front wheel can be uscrewed easily, rendering it useless to any theives that didn`t bring a spare pin with them :)

What a good idea! Thanks for that YT2095 or even a big stake driven into the ground and a bicycle chain latched on to it.

Roy.
