A word of caution, if I may?

First decide what machine will do what you expect of it - & then search.

I'd recommend you look for a Honda as I have a new Honda Tiller and a very old Honda Generator and both start a the first pull and I like that , me having a weak ticker and all ;D

Which? (Consumer's association) did a survey in November 2002 (quote):

"Easily the best cultivator on test was the Rally FT5. It performed well and was popular with our testers. It was well balanced and, thanks to the simple controls, was easy to use. The adjustable rear wheels and anchor tine gave a range of available digging depths and also meant it was easy to manoeuvre on both hard and soft surfaces. The Rally FT5 costs around £500 and comes with a one-year guarantee. Contact Rally for stockists."

I checked on http://www.froogle.co.uk and they are cheaper now ;D ;D.
Good luck! I'll think of you when I'm hacking back the undergrowth by hand ::)

If you do search on ebay make sure you know where you've got to go to to pick it up. I've been looking and nobody offers postage on them. I saw one in Felixstowe (just down the road from me) but it went out of my price bracket.
