Title: Pumpkin pests

One of ours has been devastated and literally eaten overnight......
it doesn't look like a human!

Post by: wardy on August 18, 2005, 09:03:15: I've taken some small creamy coloured slugs off my Marina di Chioggia :o :o I put a box with slug pellets in it under it so hopefully that will do the trick.

Came back from holiday to find that:

a) Pumpkin on allotment had been stolen/vandalised.
b) Pumpkin in back garden had been de-nuded by my mum... 'lovely cougettes, dear' !!!
c) Courgette plants in back garden (to which mum had been physically steered, pre-holiday) had round courgettes the size of footballs on them.

:'(

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
