Golden beet are notorious for irregular germination. Always sow more than you think necessary.

I was going to ask you if you had problems with yours! My germination rate on them is diabolical! 

So have you just put them on wet paper Tim? I want to get some more going and want to pre germinate first!
(my white beetroot is a bad germinator too!)

Yes - with clingfilm over.

They were started on 10/6 & planted out today.

I know that there are Chioggia buffs, but - yes!! And no bleeding.

Yes mine are exactly the same, im gunna have to chuck loads away.
