Golden beet are notorious for irregular germination. Always sow more than you think necessary.
-
I was going to ask you if you had problems with yours! My germination rate on them is diabolical!
So have you just put them on wet paper Tim? I want to get some more going and want to pre germinate first!
(my white beetroot is a bad germinator too!)

Yes - with clingfilm over.
They were started on 10/6 & planted out today.

Will give it a go, thank you!
-
Do they taste better than bog standard red ones?
-
I know that there are Chioggia buffs, but - yes!! And no bleeding.
-
Cheers, another one to add to next year's seed order then
