Ooooohhhh ! How delightful !! Are they Dobermans or Rottweilers ??!!
;D :D
-
Do you know - I hadn't even thought about that.
Funnily enough, they look just like my little dog - escept that she has a long tail.
I think they may look a bit more like Rotties than Doberman - don't you think?
;)
-
Not sure - do Dobermans have their tales docked ?? Not always as far as I know - But they are delightful ! Jack Russels do not have their tales docked neither now as the kennel club do not like it.
Lovely photo though !
;D :D
-
Rotties would be my guess as their nosesare broad.Either that or dober-weillers ;D
-
lovely pic so sweet :-* :-*
-
That's so cute ;D
I think they're little rotties - one of my favourite breeds :)
-
No,
they are Siamese Spanials, 9 all connected at the legs and shoulder.
-
;D ;D ;D Very good!!!!
Marianne. As far as I know, it hasn't been made law, but tail docking was supposed to be stopped except in cases such as tail injury.
It is the same as everything else though - nobody is taking a blind bit of notice.
One vet told me that he will carry on docking dogs' tails, because he would rather do it under clinical conditions, than people have a go at doing it for themselves.
The Kennel Club have a lot to answer for.
Do you know, some time ago - a lady who had a Yorkie, thought they were born with short tails!!!!!
She was horrified, when I told her that the dogs were born with their tails long.
-
It all depends on where you make the cut when you separate the Siamese Spanials as to how long the tail is after the operation!

Hi Emm :D
Sorry found your answer to me very late ::) ;)
I hate the thought of dogs having their tails docked and if must be, then it is better done by a vet than by the owners themselves, as you say.
I still cannot understand why a doggy would look more beautiful with a shorter tail than with the one he/she was born with ??? It defies me ???
