Title: A Con seat!
Post by: Palustris on April 20, 2007, 20:52:16
Despite its looks you would need to be very thin, it is only about 9 inches wide.

That's an amazing chair. Can you tell me more about it? Why is it so thin? Looks great anyway!  ;D

We had a bench where the wooden parts rotted away. The sides and back panel are metal so they stayed usable. I turned the back panel on its side and bolted it to the end pieces. I used some scrap roofing lath timber for the 'seat'. It is just a joke chair really.

It is lovely and would look great displaying a pot or container on the seat with overflowing pretty summer flowers in it  :)

Ohhhh yep! Want a pic of Mytton wearing a crown delivering the Queen's Speech from it. Knew she reminded me of someone ;D

Nice one Eric 8)

No sooner said than done. Hate to disappoint a lady. Now all I need is some Germolene for the scratches and a way to unglue her from the seat!  She refused point blank to wear a crown though.

Brilliant pic... and I agree about her expression, it has slightly malicious undertones, you can imagine her looking up at you before she pounces to get you back! Lin

Just LOVE that cat! Be careful how you unglue her, Palustris or it could be another 'anus horribilis' for her majesty.

I was waiting for someone to complain about me glueing her to the seat, so confession time. I do not think she has managed to walk that far for a long time. Chair to fireplace to foodbowl to toilet is about all she can manage these days. And it is very painful to watch her sometimes. She really is very old.
Look at the second word in the original title!

Maybe you should bring the CON seat nearer the house Eric. I know she is old but I just crease up at every pic you post of her.
