Title: Pretty driers?
Post by: sunloving on September 16, 2016, 08:22:07
Hello chilli fans,
I like to make wreaths and swags with dried chillies and so I wondered what varieties make good dried whole chillies.
I'm after so thing that is productive with good colour that is thick walled enough to dry as a whole.

Last year I had some good results with a Serrano but this year I've been trialing orange hot wax and carrot types but they haven't been very productive.

What can you recommend? X sunloving

Maybe 'Pretty in Purple' would fit the bill?  The fruits start purple and ripen to red.

I'll stick a few seeds into the seed circle.
