Title: Mail Order Seeds and Plants
Post by: philcooper on February 12, 2004, 01:46:47
It may be a little bit too late for this year but I've just put together a website of UK mail order suppliers of plants and seeds.

There are other lists of lists, I know but this one is a bit different in that it:

only includes UK firms
only covers mail order
includes vegetables - 4 categories:  straight veg seeds, exhibition seeds and young plants, heritage seeds and finally potatoes.

There's also organics, green manure, herbs and lots of ornamentals

www.plant-seed-mailorder.org.uk

There's a site search in case you're looking for something specific

Any comments - good or bad would be appreciated

Phil

Absolutely brilliant Phil.

Well done!

I am sure most of us will find this site very usefull. Its nice to look nurseries up by what they do rather than just by name, since a lot of the time you have no idea what a particular nursery specialises in.

Thank you

Clever chappie!
I'm a great believer in UK firms, and the smaller the better - eg Simpsons.
And those who have a good advisory service. = Tim

Stunning, Phil - I have an idea of the amount of labour that goes into something like that, cos I took one look at the idea and told myself not to be so daft!

Well done indeed!

All best - Gavin
