Hijacking a little here but i have a fig and for the last three years that I have had it, it hasn't produced any figs at all. Its in a big dustbin - does it need to fill that up with roots before it will produce perhaps?
Saddad - sorry dont know why yours is shedding - too dry?

Doubt it....
Probably carried too many embryo figs because it was so  mild.
Yours... whereabouts are you? I find knocking off everything visible (figs) after leaf fall means I get a good crop in Late July-Early September...

i think it might be the cold nights a couple of weeks ago prob hit them as they were forming so the plant  got rid shouldnt worry about it there will be loads more in a fortnight and yes gwynleg it maybe the ground in the pot is a little to rich so its putting on growth rather than fruiting hope this helps

You haven't seen it yet  :glasses9:
I see little ones drop off but don't take much notice tbh. Still get a good crop. I think that the weather patterns are so different now and plants can't adjust. Hope same applies to you in the ⛅ south

I noticed a few bigger ones had dropped off mine. But still hoping for a good crop my 🌲 seems to be able to decide for itself what crop level it can mature. :toothy10:

Could it be the same as the apple drop this time of year.
