Hastings Pier looks like it's burned to nothing. :'( :'( :'(
Doesn't sound like there is much to save, so I'll need to change my personal details in my sign off :-X

I've just been reading about it on the beeb website and looking at the video, that was a pretty ferocious fire! The report says that two people have been arrested for it, the &*$%£("$'s!!! >:( :'(

Haven't seen the damage yet, am watching the smoke drifting towards the park as I write this.
Such a shame, bet the insurance company is wincing, esp. after Hastings agreed to compulsory purchase a few days ago ::)

It's an absolute tragedy. I used to love this pier and was really sad when it suddenly closed.

it is tuly sad.
I'm in London today and had to get an early train, and when I got on the whole train stank of smoke - it had obviously been in the sidings or at the station during the worst of the fire.
Have yet to see it for myself but the pics on the beeb look truly depressing.
Lets hope they can do something about/with the super structure :-\
