Title: Seven headed cabbige

Have got a seven headed cabbage all about the size of a tennis ball. Any one Had the same. ???

I have a couple that have 2 heads and I think it was because they were damaged by sluggies or maybe our local hare!

Greyhound can grow mini heads if cut rather than pulled.  I assume that you must have lost your growing tip at some point so the plant has bushed.

It started of as normal. Then the outer leaves opened & these heads started growing.

I had a Jersey Wakefield produce a bunch of heads after I'd cut the cabbage off.

   Hi,           The cause could be the Swede Midge this pest attacks
any brassicas and makes the plant go blind, hence when the plant
recovers, multi heads.   LesH
