Beautiful corn, just wondering if anyone tried growing it?

(I grew Painted Mountain corn a few years ago in the back yard wouldn't mind trying the Glass Gem if I can get seeds from the US)

I grew quite a few last year, it grows very tall and makes quite bushy plants having quite a few tillers. I found it to be quite a late season type and I'm not sure it would produce a decent harvest every year. I did find quite a bit of difference in maturing times so perhaps with selection harvest time could be reduced. Many of the cobs are really pretty, amazing colours, but others are much more plain although still some with good colours. I didn't find they made a good pop corn, I'm not sure they are that useful as an eating crop, but to look at and a decoration they are stunning  :sunny:

I don't know if anyone from the seed circle managed to grow any this year, as it's been an ok summer they might have had some good results?
I should have a bag of saved seeds from last year if you want some to try?

Some seed would be great if you can spare some  :toothy10:
