Title: gooseberry bushes
Post by: Mrs Ava on September 12, 2003, 02:07:01
We have just taken on our allotment (Hoorah!  ;D), and have been told by the lottie lady who runs the site that there are at least 6 gooseberry bushes in the undergrowth (the area we didn't clear because we didn't realise it was ours!) You know what the weekend holds for us!  If the bushes are up to much, after being smothered...what is the best way to bring them back...if you know what I mean.....?

oh I do...... ;)  A bit of a worry really...I already have a couple of those types of helpers and all they do is trample my seedlings, eat my peas and strawbs and demand attention!  ;)
