Title: When to pick?

My Braeburn apples look ready to pick but how do I know if they're really ripe? Last year I was a little disappointed as they looked ready but they were a little sharp and the pips were still partly white.

Cup them in your hands & twist gently. If they come away easily they're ready. Enjoy.
