Title: My Geranium phaeum is in bloom!
Post by: gray1720 on May 12, 2021, 22:01:33
I seem to kill more seeds than I germinate, and this baby was no different - one seedling came up! But it's in bloom now!

Good for pollinators too and easy plant in shade.  I brought some here from my Belgian garden.

Thanks, Obelixx - they are in the shady bed you gave me so many good suggestions for. Hopefully by late summer it will be worth sharing photos of!

Thank you, saddad and pumpkin lover, too. I'm a bit chuffed with this one.

I think it’s lovely too but after many years it’s now taken over some parts of my garden and I now have to wage war to keep it at bay!

Easy enough to pull out though.   I use it as a filler at the back of beds and in corners that are hard to reach.

You should see the wild geranium I have at the mo! Luckily it's only the work of an hour or so to clear the bed, so at thye moment, before I get real ground cover etsablished, I just leave it to flower and then hoik it out.
