Title: Cauliflower leaves
Post by: nilly71 on September 04, 2010, 22:24:09
I have 20 cauliflower and broccolli plants that are about 4' high, the outer leaves are about 2' in length and the inner are about 6".
No cauliflowers or broccolli have formed so I thought I would ask on here who eats the leaves and what recipes do you use?
Can they be added/substatuted to a Sunday dinner with the savoy cabbages?

The little leaves I always use, either like cabbage or shredded & stir-fried or added to minestrone. Tender stalks get eaten as well. Got lots of flavour.

Are you sure nothing is going to materialise they can be frustratingly slow.

Thanks for the replies.

The small inner leaves are all curled up but have been for over a month and nothing is developing underneath.
