If I took her home in that state I'd be in for bovver. Next stop was the local lake.

It's the droopy ears that did it for me!  I recently received an e-photo of daughter-in-law's green Bichon.  It had found an enormous cow pat with just the thinnest crust and the rest is pretty obvious!  It took several baths before that dog was white.
