Maybe a bit of extra info could help.  Is is a wild plant in a water meadow, cultivated in a garden bed, how tall?  Where did you find it?  On holiday abroad or on heath land in Britain?  With a bit more information you might still get an id.  :wave:

I thought Gaura or Clarkia judging by the seed pods or are they flower buds.

As Galina says more info would be helpful. :happy7:

Hello, it is and I did thanks. That certainly looks a gaura but I'm not sure which pink variety it is.  Lovely plant and flower.   xx

Thank you so much remember now that is what the girl said Gaura, but we did not know how to spell it, thought it begun with a 'C'  thank you again  :wave:
