Title: Plastic Greenhouses?
Post by: springbok on January 13, 2008, 22:11:32
I have been bought a plastic greenhouse with a winter cover on it.

Is it ok to start onion and leek seeds off in?  Is it warm enough for them.

Or do I have to do it inside the house on a windowsill.

It has sun on it all day, as I have a south facing garden.  (plus reading everybody elses threads, a friend has secured it to a wall with battons) :)

Hiya,

I'd start them of inside as they will need heat to germinate, then once they've popped through the soil move them outside.
