Title: Foxgloves in hanging baskets
Post by: davholla on April 21, 2020, 09:52:13: I like Foxgloves but (I don't think this a problem but family would) people are often concerned about them poisoning children, so I would like to grow them in hanging baskets - is this possible?

I thought that only daffodil bulbs were poisonous?

Indeed you are correct. Its why the celtic Welsh ("ancient Britons") cultivated them , so as to poison their arrow heads, while fighting off the Angles etc, it is alleged.

Education is what they need, not cossetting.
