Title: Sweet Potato
Post by: cambourne7 on July 07, 2018, 11:54:39
Hi All,

I have found some sweet potato in the back of veg racks and they have some large sprouts popping out. So the question i have is should i bin them or is it worth trying to grow slips for planting?  Am i to late to plant them out? Would they go in the greenhouse?

Semi tropical crop. Maturity time is 90-170 days. In the greenhouse, kept above 10 deg C, possibly for Christmas? All supermarkets sell these.

I believe that the leaves are edible.
