Title: Has anyone grown Karella/Bitter Gourd?
Post by: Squash64 on December 21, 2011, 17:13:32
I know there was a thread about this earlier in the year and as I've just ordered some seed (from W. Robinson & son) , I wondered if anyone grew it this year?

I'm answering this myself because I want to try something out -

I bought the Karella seeds from here (http://www.mammothonion.co.uk/cgi-bin/trolleyed_public.cgi?action=showprod_KRL09)

It worked - I've always wondered how that was done!  Thanks Ceres.  :)

Yes!
I've noticed that Unwashed and others do it and I've never been able to work out how so I'm glad you asked earlier.  :)

Thanks Digeroo.  Dudhi doesn't seem to be the same, judging by the photos.  Karella is
quite spikey I think.
