I came across a readers offer, Suttons are sending 2 Tromboncino plants for the price of postage, sorry about the long link.

I got mine the other day and they are nice little plug plants which are already starting to grow on.

PS forgot to say this offer has been going for a little while, but when I checked this morning it all seemed to go through ok in the basket.

Thanks Jayb. I have just ordered my free seed tapes and Tromboncino plug plants. No problems. I have also ordered some other bedding and perennial plug plants, so spent another £32 on top of the postage!

Shame, I think the offer had been going for several days before I posted it here, I guess they only had a certain number. Glad you got the seed tapes though :wave:
They seem a nice mix and come in two separate boxes. Mine were sent pretty quickly too.

Email from Suttons around mid-day today: "I am sorry for the difficulty encountered with the offer code TAPE16. The current valid offer with this code is for a free seed tape collection only and no tromboncino plants. If you add the following item to your basket and then enter the offer code TAPE16 in the space provided on the Basket page, this will reduce the price to zero, with just the carriage charge to pay."
On this basis I and a friend have ordered the seed tapes free except for p&p, and the orders have been acknowledged .... yet according to the site below, they are still offering two free tromboncino plants, so it is rather confusing....and they also seem to have plenty of tromboncino plants if you pay for them..... Someone trying again might succeed in getting both the tapes and the squashes, so don't give up......

My order seems to have gone through, with free squash plugs and free seed tapes and £4.99 postage.
Don't know if it makes a difference, but I put the items in my card the other day and only finalised the order today.

I've just clicked through on the tromboncino link in the first post and they seem to be in stock on that too. Yesterday they didn't have them, perhaps doing a stock take?
Perhaps they'll let you cancel our order artichoke and you can put in a new one for the tapes and plants?
