After a stroll with the beloved down the towpath yesterday afternoon and seeing sooo many rosey red hips, out this morning gathering a tad less than 8lbs (sufficient for two gallons) other half still sleeping off night shift. Minced rather than crushed them so it will be an experiment which extracts more flavour. Cheers, Tony.
