I have grown garlic for several years with reasonable results without feeding but I have read that now is a good time to add some fertilizer. I have given them one feed with liquid seaweed. I know some of you get excellent results so would welcome your comments.

I have four huge aspidistra plants, which live on a north facing dwarf wall just at the front of my house. They grow like weeds, but are not as attractive as I'd like because the leaves go pale as they age - not yellow, they are not dying, just not the glossy green that they should be. I'm in the process of repotting and splitting to make smaller, nicer plants - I don#t really have room to keep them indoors, any advice on how to keep the leaves dark please?

What a year for them. I only have a ten foot row of asparagus and I'm killing dozens of beetles every day. I've not had them this early before, how are others managing this year? The crop is wonderful but it's a race to cut the spears before they are ruined by the eggs....

Hi ya, while watering the greenhouse I started thinning my beetroots growing in modules. It started me thinking, as I have some gaps, is it possible to replant the seedlings and will they take? So I thought I would ask has any one tried doing it and how successful were you? Happy gardening
