Mentioned elsewhere, but maybe worth a spot of its own?
Onions, garlic & shallots. Frequently, at this time, tips of leaves of, especially the 2 latter, go yellow/brown. Is there any obvious cause? Ground is well composted & things had a dressing of b,f & b.
I know that we've had white rot for several years, but I'm praying that Armillatox will have done its job this year. = Tim

I noticed that my overwintering garlic was yellow tipped, but I think I put that down to wind damage (was quite windy here over winter) - I lifted one of the garlic to see if anything suspect was there, but the bulb looked fine (and was tasty).
Got the July issue of KG mag - Shallots are ready for harvest when the tops have yellowed and started to die down.....

The old saying Tim was that you set your shallots on the shortest day and lifted them on the longest, sorry to say that in three weeks time its the longest day so l think shallots are getting ready for harvest soon, the yellowing on onions etc could be down to lack of rain.
PS longest day in three weeks time winters coming sorry to be the bringer of bad news ;)

All my thingies went in in February, so a bit of time to go yet?
And they have had some watering - tho' not like rain. = Tim

Glad to hear that the yellowing occurs in good soil conditions, Tim.
I thought it might be my poor conditions that caused it.
In my case it isn't lack of water as they were browning when the soil was still very moist
