Title: Any tips on "isolation chambers"?
Post by: Barnowl on March 20, 2009, 11:05:56: I want to protect some of my chillies and peppers from cross-pollination using a barrier (not enough space for the distance approach).

Any suggestions? Is net curtain a fine enough to use?

Post by: tricia on March 20, 2009, 23:49:46: Some time back I bought 5m of tubular fleece which can be cut to the required length and tied at the top of supporting canes over plants. Got it at Lidl if I remember correctly. Perhaps there are other suppliers? Try Googling.

I think so yes but i am the only person i know with voiles, every oneelse has umm etty things.

Post by: Biscombe on March 31, 2009, 13:11:01: Why bother making a chamber use tulle! easy to find and as cheap as chips and fine enough to stop cross pollination. You can also cover multiple pods.
