Title: Aphids galore!
Post by: caroline7758 on July 13, 2018, 17:46:33
I've come back from a week away to find my plants (such as they are in this drought!) covered in blackfly, greenfly and whitefly, but also "redfly", that I've never seen before. What are these, please?

We had so many ladybirds in the house over the winter, but hardly any in the garden now!

I am never sure what to do with the ladybirds in the house.
Do they find their own way out when it warms up?

Here, at last - the first ladybirds have arrived to eat the aphids on the beans, a bit less squishing needed today :}
