Title: Squash problem
Post by: lezelle on May 21, 2020, 09:44:34
Hi Ya hope you are all well, I have attached some piccies sent me by a friend asking what the problem is. I think it is a rot due to watering the plant from the top. Please have a look and give me your thoughts. Can it be recovered? I don't think they can but will be interested in your comeback. Thanks

That would certainly be my diagnosis in picture three... maybe earth up a few and see if they make roots above the damage?

Picture 3
Can we sure that that is not a wireworm to the right of plant stem? Have enlarged the picture but insufficient resolution to be sure. Are these still in pots or now planted out in the ground?
