Title: "New" potatoes
Post by: Spireite on August 14, 2013, 18:27:43
With all the reports in the news this week about "new" potatoes, I was pleased to harvest some today from my garden.  They are now cooking in the pan.

With less than 2 hours from garden to pan, THAT's what I call new potatoes  :happy7:

They were a little starchy on boiling but tasted great  :happy7:

I was quite surprised how long new spuds spend out of the ground!

We are now eating out second earlies as baked spuds!
