They've ripened nicely being so late in the season..are they from GH or outdoors?

 They are outdoors,, we don't have a green house I am sorry to say, we did when we lived in Sussex UK, I grew Angelica in it, my aunt candied some.... Funny candied Angelica is some thing you never see in Ontario.

 One of the tomatoe plants was Brandywine, that appears to be finished now. It tastes just like a true English tomatoe.   qahtan

Lucky you! Sadly blight got mine before many had ripened! I picked the last runners a few days ago, and my leeks are like yours.

Well done. Mine have been such rubbish that when we were out today we called at a tomato growers & I bought a 6kg box for £4. Now I have something to nibble on ;D.

Your tomatoes are massive... I've grown only cherry-size this year but we have had bucket loads of them. Sungold, Bambino, Sweet Million and the larger Gardeners Delight have all done brilliantly under glass here in good old Sussex by not far from the sea

Well Cheshire has been an absolute let down but the box I bought was picked this morning, just not by me ;D.

Not that far from the Mulberry Tree where my uncle lived years ago and ran a shoe repair shop.  ;)

yes, I think I remember the bus stopping there, out side a bakers shop.,

I used over half of those tomatoes today, I made a great, great big pot of chilli. It freezes well.  qahtan
