Title: jeyes fluid
Post by: percussionman on August 04, 2012, 21:25:28
I have a lot of bugs on my allotment and thought of using Jeyes fluid to sort out the problem. I contacted Jeyes technical dept to ask the question Can Jeyes Fluid be used where edible crops are to be grown. I was told not to use it on the allotment and only use it in accordance with the instructions on the tin. I have used this product on the greenhouse and in the ornamental gardens at home and jeyes does do a very good job. I would refrain from using it where veges are to be grown.

More info on the bugs might help percussionman, and welcome to the forum :D
I used to use Jeyes fluid to sterilize my pots but not now.

Hello, I dont think you should spray your crops with it if that is what you are thinking.

Have a look at http://www.armillatox.com/ - Jeyes Fluid is a similar product.

You say 'a lot of bugs' but remember that only a few are pests, and some are very useful indeed!
