Title: damson gin
Post by: Mrs Ava on August 09, 2004, 11:53:53
I am now the proud owner of a carrier bag of damsons, which have been sorted and are now residing in my freezer until I go shopping and buy a job lot of gin.  Damson gin, just in time for Christmas.  If it is half as good as the sloe gin, we are all going to be pickled!  ;D

Oh EJ you do realise the more that you make the more you have to drink(http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/winking/winking46.gif)   (http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/winking/winking46.gif)  (http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/winking/winking46.gif)

Hope that you've put my name down on the party list.

And do remember, unlike one of our children, that when you're slurping damson or sloe gin, it's at least 26%! = Tim

The longer you (can) keep flavoured gins the better they taste (smoother).    Cheers, Tony.

We managed to hold off opening the sloe gin for 3 months this year, but I plan to give my mum and grandad a bottle in the Chrissy stockings, and I fear most of that will be gone by Christmas night!  :o ;D :P
