Post by: ACE on November 14, 2006, 16:48:37
This pic is not mine, but I hope the one I have just planted in the garden looks as good next spring.

Age unknown but 12' high, it had a few bracts this year.

Ok Dove tree or Ghost tree, not a pink in site.
Our local park had something like it planted white and pink every other must be a different tree. Pity they dont lable the trees so people like me would know what they are and never a B. gardener around when you need one ha ha.

Ace I think that is one beautiful tree. (Never put initials in corner of my knickers in case the wind carries them in to another garden and people would know what size I need :))

Loved the tree too ACE.  Really attractive! I am involved in a park project and think labelling the trees is a really good idea Teresa.  Think that is a suggestion I will put forward when we next  discuss the trees.  :)  busy_lizzie

Our school navy blue dreadnoughts had a pocket for our handkerchief 8)

Labelling trees has gotta be a must BL. I remember down at The Eden Project a few years ago there was a dearth of labels. Absolutely infuriating. When I asked I was told that 'the Boss' (Tim Schmit or something?) didn't believe in labels - he wanted peeps to get the 'impression' of a rain forest, or whatever... I'd just come back from a holiday visiting a rain forest & was, actually, quite keen to find out what I'd been walking through.....OK,OK ACE, I identified the rain bit ::) ;D
