Title: New Adverts
Post by: Admin aka Dan on March 08, 2004, 19:35:41
Hi all,

As you may have noticed some new adverts have appeared at the bottom of the forum.  I hope they are not to obtrusive.

Let me explain how they work.

They are affiliate program adverts, what that means is that I do not receive any money for displaying the adverts, but if a visitor clicks through from this site to one of those sites I get a percentage of any money spent.

I figure this is a low impact way of generating extra money to pay for the site, if you are going to purchase anything from one of these companies please consider entering the site via the link on this site.

Finally, let me say that hopefully I've chosen programs and companies of some use - not trying to sell, but I particularly like the get mapping site for aerial photographs !

Cheers

Dan

Get Mapping is a v useful site.
And, of course, John Lewis are a mainstay.  = Tim

So unobtrusive, Dan I didn't notice them until I read your bit! I'll certainly be giving a few clicks their way and maybe even taking a closer look at what they have to offer. I see no problems with this way to help the site. Nice one.

Nothing so spicy and lots cooler than my to-be peppers. I'm asked to do quite a bit of video work by the 'family' over here. I'm the only one witha video and digital camera and llast year I covered 2 kiddies birthdays, one 100 year birthday, the handing over of a club in Antwerp where a top politician attended, a New Year do and a soccer match. All these I made copies for but VCR to VCR makes for terrible quality so, I've ordered a computer video studio along with quite a few books and pressy's for two birthday's back home.
