i have bought some 2m sqaure gutters to use in my greenhouse.
i placed these over shelves two nex tto each other - in total i have 3 heights i.e. 6 gutters each side of the green house
what i have found is tat the radish ad some salad stuff (pak choi etc) bolted very quickly - can anyone tell me if that is beause the gutters are too shallow or if there is another reason
thanks

Too much heat will cause some cool weather lovers to bolt.

Yep...radish and pak choi are better either early spring or autumn/winter cropping and this weather we've been having ..well mid summer temps will make them bolt early..and being in GH as well.. even warmer ::)
You would do better with ordinary salad leaves this time of the year..but multipurpose will dry out far too quickly and shrink in gutters...mix in some top-soil/ John Innes 2/ loam...heavier stuff and your gutter crops will do better.. ;)
