Title: Stupice Tomatoe
Post by: Marlborough on February 09, 2017, 10:06:51
Hi everyone, Because they are so hardy I am tempted to grow one or two Stupice tomatoes outdoors this year.  I have read on other blogs that the flavour of the fruit isn't that great, has anyone grown them before?

I grew some in the polytunnel last year. They were first to ripen and tasted fine and will grow again this year.

I've tried them several times  but not been impressed enough to get them on my regulars list.

I grow them outside every year, except last when they drowned and I really missed them.  Always my earliest and well flavoured.

I've grown them in the past, probably will again this year. They're a sight better than shop tomatoes!
